Lovely to meet you! I’m Jonathan Owen, a 43-year-old event photographer who finds immense joy in capturing life’s candid moments. Currently soaking up life in the picturesque seaside town of Leigh-on-Sea, Essex with my wonderful partner, Suzy, our two dogs Rolo and Chip, and our little bundle of joy, Charlie.
Born and raised in Leigh-on-Sea, with childhood memories filled with never-ending summers spent in Devon, I was nurtured in an environment where photography was a beloved tradition. Thanks to my father, John, an accomplished award-winning amateur photographer, and supported by my deeply creative mum, Pamela, my passion for seizing life’s fleeting yet beautiful moments through the lens runs deep.
My photography style is a blend of authentic, spontaneous moments captured to reveal the radiance in the everyday. From lively local events to the exhilarating pulse of sports gatherings, I embrace an approach of documenting life as it unfolds, in its truest form.
