I first started out as an amateur photographer in 2001 whilst organising and promoting live music and charity events in my home town of Leigh-on-Sea, the new wave of digital photography and social content was just starting to get going and I decided to pick up a camera to document and promote my events using online tools as best I could. As time went on I found myself being drawn towards news lenses and equipment, better composition, and a hunger to learn more about photography and digital media as a whole.

The combination of media and digital marketing soon took hold, I was designing promotional material using the photos I had taken, and building an online presence as part of what felt like a natural progression. I have evolved from a visual perspective in my freelancing role, (design, photography, and video) to someone who likes to know how things work behind the scenes. I generate great content that reaches its intended audience through search engine optimisation and programmatic advertising. A keen eye for detail, and empathy with both the customer and business goals gives me a great insight into design for user experience, as well as the user interface. Therefore when it comes to easing a customer’s journey through a sales funnel or delivering a key message clearly and concisely, whilst maintaining brand integrity, I can follow the process through from start to finish. Working as part of a team or taking the reins myself, to get the job done effectively.
