You have an event to enjoy or organise. My job is to photograph it properly while letting you get on with it, from the first arrivals and conversations to the speeches, celebrations and moments that bring everyone together.
I cover birthdays, anniversary parties, christenings, corporate events, awards, school events, proms, charity occasions and live music in Colchester. The emphasis is on natural, documentary photography, with group photographs and a little direction wherever you want them.
For businesses, my corporate event coverage gives you a useful mix of people, speakers, atmosphere and branded details. For private celebrations, it means photographs of the people you invited and the things that made the occasion yours.

City-centre venues, private celebrations and business events. Whether everything happens in one room or your plans involve several locations, we can work through the important moments and practical arrangements beforehand.
Events outside the centre are welcome too. A village hall, family garden or business premises can be just as meaningful a setting as a larger venue. You do not need a final running order before getting in touch.

Colchester bookings can range from a family celebration to a busy business event. I bring the same attention to both: knowing when to step back, when to organise a group and when to be ready for a moment that will not happen twice.
I’ve worked professionally since 2003. You’ll deal directly with me when planning the coverage, and I personally select and edit the photographs afterwards. That keeps the brief, the photography and the finished gallery connected.

Your booking includes professional photography, my selection and editing of the finished images, and a private, password-protected gallery with full-quality downloads. I’ll confirm the total for your event before you book.

Yes. Group photographs can be planned beforehand, requested on the day or suggested when they would add to the finished set. You decide how much organised photography you want alongside the natural coverage.
Yes. Send your running order and a simple list of important people, groups or moments. I’ll plan around those priorities and make reasonable efforts to cover them within the time and access available.
Yes, subject to availability and workable timings. I cover Colchester and the surrounding Essex area, including multi-location events. Send the locations and rough schedule so we can plan the coverage properly.

Standard event photography starts at £150 for one hour, with two hours at £230 and four hours at £380. Photography, selection, editing and your private download gallery are included. I’ll confirm the total for your booking after receiving the location and timings. See the full price list for other durations.
Send your date, venue or location, approximate timings and the type of event. I’ll check availability and send a quote. For a standard private event booking, a 30% deposit secures the booking, with the balance due on or before the event day. Business payment arrangements can be agreed separately.
Yes. Send what you know so far, even if the venue or exact timings are still being finalised. I usually reply within one working day. Short-notice bookings may be possible, so it is worth asking.
Yes. Qualifying charity bookings receive 25% off the applicable quoted total. Mention the organisation and charitable status in your enquiry.

Your edited gallery is delivered within 7–10 working days depending on workload at the time. If you have an earlier deadline, mention it before booking. Where agreed, the complete gallery can be delivered within three working days for an additional £100.
You’ll receive a private, password-protected online gallery. You can download individual photographs or the complete gallery at full quality, and share the link and password with anyone you want to give access to the images.
Yes. The standard business licence covers your own website, social media, PR, recruitment, internal communications and normal business marketing. Larger campaigns, unrelated third-party advertising, resale or image-library use should be discussed and agreed first.
Yes. I hold £5 million public liability insurance and £1 million professional indemnity insurance, with a current certificate available on request. I carry backup equipment, record to dual memory cards and securely back up photographs after the shoot.
