About me
I’m a professional photographer in Essex, creative since I could grip a crayon. I’m known for energetic event photography in the music industry, but I love telling stories at a slower pace too. That same passion carries into portraits, family shoots, and weddings, giving my creativity room to breathe and a unique edge to my style. I’ve been lucky enough to travel to some beautiful places, photograph my heroes, and make memories with friends, family, and the wonderful people I meet along the way. Why choose me?
I’ve been doing this professionally since 2003, from festival stages and backstage corridors to the O2 Arena, Emirates Stadium and Ibiza clubs, photographing names including Andy C and Chase & Status along the way. I’m fully insured and DBS checked, a member of both the Royal Photographic Society and the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, and I’ve also picked up the Annual Dartmouth Regatta Photography Prize. Lovely as all that is, the useful part for you is what those years have taught me: how to read a room, stay calm when plans change and know when to step in and when to disappear. Whether I’m shooting a packed festival, a quiet portrait session or a wedding that looks and feels like the people in it, I’ll offer a little direction where it helps, but never arrange the life out of it. The best frame is still usually the one nobody planned. Different setting, same job: finding the bit of the day worth keeping and telling it properly.
