What I photograph, and what you can expect
I photograph events, weddings and corporate work with a natural, story-led approach. I blend in, stay calm, and capture what unfolds without turning your day into a photoshoot.
- Events: birthdays, parties, celebrations, charity events, award evenings, festivals and more
- Weddings: candid, documentary coverage with zero structured posing (with one or two simple family groups if you’d like)
- Corporate: conferences, brand events, openings, team events and marketing activations
I’ve photographed events professionally since 2003, and I’m set up for reliability with public liability insurance, backup kit, dual card recording, and secure backups after the event.

How the booking process works
- Send your details using the form below (date, venue or area, rough timings, and what you need).
- I’ll confirm availability and quote clearly, including travel as part of the total so there are no surprise add-ons later.
- Secure the date with a 30% deposit. For private clients, the remaining balance is due before or on the day. Commercial invoicing is available (payment due within 30 days).

- Date and start time
- Venue or area (and whether it’s one venue or multiple locations)
- Rough timings and any key moments (speeches, awards, first dance, surprise bits)
- Any deadline (for example, images needed quickly for marketing)
- Budget or expectations (optional, but helpful)

Ballpark pricing, travel, and delivery
If you just want a quick starting point:
- Events: from £150 for the first hour
- Weddings: from £695 for 4 hours of relaxed, documentary coverage
- Corporate: priced using the same approach as event photography, with usage requirements confirmed as part of the quote
Travel is quoted per booking and included in your tailored quote, based on the location, timing, and practical needs such as parking or accommodation where required.
Turnaround for events is around two weeks, usually within one to three weeks depending on workload.

Where are you based?

How quickly do you reply to enquiries?
I usually reply within one working day. If your event is last minute or you have a deadline, mention it in your message and I will come back to you as quickly as possible.
How does the booking process work?
Enquire with details, receive a quote, pay a 30% deposit to secure the date.
What deposit do I need to pay?
A 30% deposit secures the date in my diary, ideally this should be paid as soon as possible to confirm the booking.
Can I book you at short notice?
Sometimes, yes, depending on availability and travel.
How much do you charge for event photography?
For most events in Essex, coverage starts from £150 for the first hour (due to the nature of weddings pricing is structured differently, please see my dedicated wedding pricing for details).
Is travel included?
Travel is included in your tailored quote. Because every job is different, I price travel per booking, factoring in the location, timing, travel time, and practical requirements such as parking or accommodation where needed, so you see the total cost upfront.
If you are booking multiple venues or you have tight timings, mention it when you enquire and I will quote accurately from the start.
How is corporate photography priced, and what about usage rights?
Corporate photography follows the same pricing approach as my event photography. Once I know the date, location, how long you need covered, and the kind of images you need, I will come back to you with a tailored quote showing the total cost upfront.
