A busy community day, a family party and a business event all have a different rhythm. I photograph what makes each occasion its own: the people taking part, the small details and the moments you might miss while you are hosting or enjoying it.
Event photography is at the heart of my work in Rayleigh. I cover birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, charity occasions, school events, proms, conferences, awards and live music, with natural coverage and organised photographs in whatever balance suits you.

Your own booking may be much smaller, or have a very different purpose. We’ll plan around that. At a family celebration, the important photographs might be particular relatives together and the moment the cake arrives. For a business event, you may need speakers, audience reactions, team photographs and details that help explain the event afterwards.

I’ve worked professionally as a photographer since 2003. That experience helps me adapt to a Rayleigh community event, a private celebration or a business brief without losing sight of the people in front of the camera.
My approach is relaxed and attentive. I’ll organise photographs when you want them, then give the occasion room to unfold. You’ll speak directly with me about the plans, and I personally select and edit the finished photographs afterwards.

Standard event photography starts at £150 for one hour. Two hours is £230, three hours is £305 and four hours is £380, with longer coverage available.
Your event booking includes the photography, selection and professional editing of the finished images, plus a private, password-protected gallery with full-quality downloads. I’ll confirm the total for your booking before you decide.

I cover birthdays, anniversary parties, christenings, family celebrations, community days, charity events, school events, proms, conferences, awards, launches, live music and festivals. Business events use the same core event service, with coverage tailored to your brief.
Standard event photography starts at £150 for one hour. Two hours is £230, three hours is £305 and four hours is £380. Selection, professional editing and a private download gallery are included. I’ll confirm the total for your event once I know the location and timings. See the full event price list for other durations.
Yes. Groups can be planned beforehand, requested on the day or suggested when they would add to the finished set. You decide how much organised photography you want alongside the natural coverage.
Yes. Send a simple list of important people, groups or moments, together with the running order if you have one. I’ll plan around your priorities and make reasonable efforts to cover them within the available time and access.
Yes. Qualifying charity bookings receive 25% off the applicable quoted total. Include the organisation and its charitable status when you enquire.

Yes. Wedding photography is a separate service with its own coverage options. The approach is natural and documentary-led, with family groups and lightly directed portraits when you want them. Explore the wedding photography page and enquire with your date and Rayleigh venue.
My Short & Simple wedding service offers shorter coverage for a ceremony and the photographs around it. It is useful to share the ceremony time, location and the groups or couple photographs you would like, so I can suggest the appropriate option.
Yes. Tell me who the session is for, how you would like to use the pictures and any preferred location. See my portrait photography options for the service, then enquire with your Rayleigh plans.

The date, location or venue, approximate timings and type of photography are a useful starting point. Include any important people, moments or requirements. You can enquire before every detail is confirmed, and I usually reply within one working day.
After I confirm availability and send a quote, a 30% deposit secures a standard private event booking. The remaining balance is due on or before the event day. Business payment arrangements can be agreed separately.
Event galleries are delivered within 7–10 working days depending on workload at the time. If you have a deadline, mention it before booking. Where agreed, the complete event gallery can be delivered within three working days for an additional £100. Wedding and portrait delivery schedules are confirmed for those services separately.
You’ll receive a private, password-protected gallery. You can download individual images or the complete gallery at full quality, and share the link and password with anyone you want to give access to the photographs.
Yes. The standard business licence covers your own website, social media, PR, recruitment, internal communications, event promotion and normal business marketing. Larger campaigns, unrelated third-party advertising, resale or image-library use should be discussed and agreed first.
Yes. I hold £5 million public liability insurance and £1 million professional indemnity insurance, with a current certificate available on request. I carry backup equipment, record to dual memory cards and securely back up photographs after the shoot.
