These three options are starting points. One hour starts from £150 and 90 minutes from £190; other durations, including events longer than eight hours, are available. I’ll confirm your total price and any agreed extras before you book.
Every option includes the agreed photography time, my selection and editing, and a private online gallery with downloads. Ask for a quote around your event’s timings.
I photograph the people, details and activity that give your event its character, while keeping an eye on the moments you’ve told me matter. Group photographs and light direction are part of the service too. You can choose how much of each you want.
Afterwards, I select and edit the strongest photographs into a consistent finished set. The number depends on the length and nature of your event; there is no fixed image quota to fill.
Your online gallery is private and password-protected. You can download individual photographs or the complete gallery at full quality, and share the link and password with anyone you’d like to give access. Downloads of your delivered photographs are included.
Standard event delivery is 7–10 working days, depending on workload at the time. If you need the complete edited gallery within three working days, the agreed advance-booking option is an additional £100. For a smaller urgent set for press or social media, ask about Priority Select Delivery when sending your enquiry.

Think about the first and last things you want photographed. For a party, that might mean guests arriving through to the cake or speeches. Two hours can work when those moments are close together; four gives you more room when they’re spread across the evening.
At a gala dinner or awards ceremony, allow for the reception, presentations and any groups you’d like afterwards. A conference or festival may need a longer booking to cover different sessions, activities and people. You can also book just the part of a longer event that matters to you.
A rough schedule is enough to start. Let me know about multiple venues, important people or a deadline, and I’ll help you choose suitable coverage. If your timings fall between standard durations, the next available tier applies. Any later extension needs to be checked and agreed.

I’ve worked professionally as a photographer since 2003. I cover events across Essex, from private celebrations to corporate occasions, with the balance of observational coverage and group photographs shaped around what you need.
I carry backup equipment, record to dual memory cards and securely back up your photographs after the shoot. I’m also a member of the Royal Photographic Society and the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.

My event photography starts from £150 for one hour or £190 for 90 minutes. The featured options are two hours from £230, four hours from £380 and eight hours from £650. Send your event details for a confirmed total.
Yes. Alongside the featured options, I offer three hours, five to seven hours and longer bookings up to 16 hours. I’ll quote for the length you need; if it falls between listed durations, the next higher available event tier applies. Include your approximate start and finish times in your enquiry.
Yes. I use the standard event photography rates for corporate events unless we agree a bespoke requirement. Let me know your schedule, key people, intended image use and any delivery deadline. See my corporate photography service for more detail.
Your agreed photography coverage, my selection and editing, and a private online gallery with full-quality downloads are included. The final number of photographs depends on your event and coverage length. I select the strongest images to make a useful finished gallery, without promising a fixed count.
I normally deliver event galleries within 7–10 working days, depending on workload at the time. You can download individual photographs or the complete gallery at full quality and share its link and password with the people you choose.
Yes, where agreed in advance. The three-working-day event turnaround costs an additional £100 and covers your complete edited gallery. Mention your deadline when enquiring so I can confirm it before you book.
Priority Select Delivery provides up to 10 priority edited photographs by prior agreement. It allows an additional working hour for transferring, selecting, editing and delivering the photographs, with the cost confirmed in your quote. Your photography coverage stays the same.
I may complete that work on site or after returning to the office, depending on the schedule and agreed deadline. The rest of your gallery follows the standard turnaround unless you also book the separate three-working-day option.
For non-wedding events, supplementary 4K video is £150, with raw clips or a simple edit, typically around one to two minutes. Photography takes priority. Format and scope are agreed at booking.
A dedicated 30-minute portrait session is also £150. While I’m working at the portrait setup I cannot photograph other activity elsewhere, so we’ll plan the slot around your event. Both options need to be agreed in advance.
Yes. Qualifying charity bookings receive 25% off the applicable quoted total. Tell me which charity the event is for when you ask for a quote.
The standard event deposit is 30% of your final quoted total, rounded to the nearest pound. The balance is due on or before the event day. I’ll confirm the payment arrangements with your quote.
No. I’m not VAT registered, so VAT is not added.
Yes. The standard business licence covers your own website, social media, PR, internal communications, recruitment, event promotion and normal business marketing. Relevant event partners and sponsors can use the photographs for event-related promotion.
Larger campaigns, unrelated third-party advertising, resale or image-library use need to be discussed and agreed first. Mention any particular usage requirements in your enquiry.
Wedding bookings have their own coverage and delivery arrangements. For a ceremony or wedding reception, please use my wedding photography service so I can quote for the right booking.
