YOUR DAY, YOUR PEOPLE
A wedding brings together people who may rarely be in the same room. I look for what happens between them: a reaction during the ceremony, a conversation over dinner, someone getting thoroughly involved on the dance floor. My documentary approach gives those moments space, with very little interruption.
That still leaves room for family photographs and portraits of the two of you. You decide how much direction you want. I can organise the groups you care about, offer a little guidance for portraits and then return to photographing the day as it happens.
My Full Wedding packages start at £695 for up to four hours. They include my photography, personal selection and editing, and a private online gallery. I hold your whole wedding date exclusively, with planning and flexibility around your agreed coverage.
Four hours can suit the ceremony and the celebrations around it. Eight hours gives more room for preparations, the ceremony, family photographs and speeches, while ten hours can take the story further into the evening. What fits depends on your actual start times, the distance between locations and the parts of the day you want photographed.
Tell me when your ceremony, meal and first dance are planned, and whether you want preparations covered. I’ll help you choose a start and finish time that makes sense. Holding your date exclusively supports a more flexible plan, but the photography hours are still the coverage we agree.
I’ve photographed weddings at The Lawn in Rochford, The Boatyard in Leigh-on-Sea and Leigh Community Centre. That experience spans different settings and wedding schedules. You can see a recent example in my Leigh Community Centre wedding photographs.
If you only want straightforward coverage for one or two hours, Short & Simple wedding photography has its own shorter options. Full Wedding is the route for wider planning, date exclusivity and a longer or more complex schedule.

For the main part of your wedding: the ceremony and the moments around it, with time for family photographs and portraits to fit your schedule.
Up to 8 hours
A wider account of your day, with more room for preparations, ceremony, guests and speeches. Includes a preview within 72 hours.
Up to 10 hours
For coverage extending further into the evening, depending on your timings. Includes a preview within 48 hours and priority editing.
Essential Moments is £695 for up to four hours, Signature Story is £995 for up to eight hours, and Full Signature Experience is £1,295 for up to ten hours. Each includes my photography, selection and editing, with your final high-resolution gallery delivered within 21 days.
Other Full Wedding durations are available from two to sixteen hours. Destination weddings start from £1,995 for full-day coverage, with the arrangements and delivery agreed around your plans. Send me your date, venue and approximate timings for a quote.

I’m Jonathan, based in Leigh-on-Sea. I’ve worked professionally as a photographer since 2003, photographing weddings and many other occasions. I work across Essex, including Southend-on-Sea, Chelmsford and Colchester, with bookings also available in London and further afield.
You deal with me through the enquiry, photography and editing. I carry backup equipment, record to two memory cards and securely back up your photographs after the shoot. Yes, when you want them. Let me know which groups matter most before the wedding, and we can choose a suitable moment to gather everyone. A guest who knows the people involved can help bring them together. There’s no prescribed group count: you decide how much time to give them alongside the natural coverage.
Short & Simple offers streamlined one-hour, 90-minute and two-hour wedding coverage. It reserves your agreed photography time. Full Wedding holds your whole date exclusively and includes wider planning and flexibility for longer or more complex arrangements.
No. Once the required deposit has been received and your Full Wedding booking is confirmed, I reserve the whole wedding date exclusively for you. Before that, it is pencilled in unless we expressly agree a different hold or confirmation arrangement. Attendance remains limited to your agreed coverage.

I deliver your final Full Wedding gallery within 21 days. Signature Story includes a preview within 72 hours, and Full Signature Experience includes one within 48 hours. Essential Moments has no standard preview, although one can be agreed separately. Destination wedding delivery is agreed for the individual booking.
Your edited photographs arrive in a private, password-protected online gallery. You can download individual photographs or the complete gallery at full quality and share the link and password with anyone you’d like to give access. Your gallery remains available indefinitely, but I recommend downloading and backing up your photographs when they arrive.
I don’t work to a fixed image count. I personally select and edit a gallery that reflects the coverage booked and what happens during your day. The final number depends on your coverage, guest numbers and the moments there are to photograph.
A 30% deposit of your final quoted total, rounded to the nearest pound, secures your booking. The balance is due on or before your wedding day.
Yes, if I’m available. Please ask before your booked finish time where possible so we can agree the coverage and price. Essential Moments can be extended at £125 per additional hour. For other Full Wedding bookings, I’ll confirm the price using the applicable total duration in my current wedding pricing.
A second photographer is not included as standard. If simultaneous coverage is important, I can discuss working alongside a trusted photographer, subject to their availability, your brief and a separately agreed quote. I’ll confirm the arrangement before it becomes part of your booking.
Yes. The optional £150 Wedding Portrait Session gives you a dedicated 30-minute portrait setup during a Full Wedding booking. It suits individuals and small groups, typically one to four people per portrait, using a suitable space and natural or portable lighting. It is separate from the ordinary couple and family photographs included in your coverage.
