PERSONAL & FAMILY PORTRAITS
You might want a portrait of yourself, photographs together as a couple, or a family session that catches more than everyone looking at the camera at once. I photograph individuals, couples and families on location in Southend-on-Sea, Leigh-on-Sea and across Essex, with time to find the light and let you settle in.
My approach is relaxed and observant. We can walk, talk, try a few different spots or include something you enjoy doing. I can give you direction when it helps, or leave more room for things to happen naturally. You do not need to arrive knowing how to pose.

MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
I grew up in Leigh-on-Sea and have worked professionally as a photographer since 2003. Photographing people at events has shaped the way I notice expressions, small interactions and the moments between the obvious photographs.
For your portrait session, that means a calm approach and practical guidance rather than a performance you have to get right. You will deal directly with me, and I personally select and edit your finished photographs.

My portrait sessions start at £75 for 30 minutes with 5 edited photographs. An hour is £150 with 10 edited photographs, or two hours is £230 with 20. I deliver your included edited selection digitally, normally within 7–10 working days, depending on workload at the time.
Where requested and agreed, additional time is £50 per 30 minutes and additional edited photographs are £12 each. A three-working-day delivery option is £50, subject to agreement. Send me your session ideas and I will confirm the details and total before you book.

I normally work on location, often outdoors with natural light. Around Southend and Leigh-on-Sea, we could consider the seafront, Old Leigh, Belfairs Woods or Two Tree Island. A favourite café, a familiar place or a setting connected to something you enjoy can also give your photographs a more personal feel.
These are location ideas, rather than fixed venues included with a package. We will agree a suitable setting around your brief, access and the session time. A studio is not normally part of my standard portrait service.
I photograph portraits across Southend-on-Sea, Leigh-on-Sea and wider Essex. You can start with a town or an idea; you do not need every detail decided before getting in touch.
PORTRAITS WITH PERSONALITY
Send an enquiry with your preferred date, who you would like photographed, a town or location idea, and roughly how much time you want. Let me know about any particular photographs or requirements. I usually reply within one working day.
I will confirm availability, the session brief and your quote, and supply the Terms. Your booking is secured when the required 30% deposit, rounded to the nearest pound, is received. Until then, it is pencilled in. The remaining balance is due on or before your shoot day.
I personally select and edit your agreed photographs. Delivery is normally within 7–10 working days through a private, password-protected online gallery or an agreed download link. In your gallery, you can download individual photographs or the complete included selection at full quality, and share access with people you choose.
Yes. I offer personal portrait sessions for individuals, couples and families, tailored around who is taking part and what you would like photographed. Tell me about your session so we can agree the brief and a suitable length.
Yes. You do not need to know how to pose. I can give as much or as little direction as you prefer, including more posed photographs when you want them. My usual approach is relaxed and natural.
Sessions are normally on location in Southend-on-Sea, Leigh-on-Sea or wider Essex. We can choose a suitable setting around your ideas, the session brief and access. Outdoor locations and natural light are my standard approach; a studio is not normally included.

Your standalone portrait photographs are normally ready within 7–10 working days, depending on workload at the time. A £50 delivery option provides the complete edited portrait gallery within three working days where agreed in advance.

In your gallery, you can download individual photographs or the complete included selection at full quality, and share the link and password with anyone you want to give access.
I personally select and edit the strongest photographs to create your finished selection. Each package includes its stated number of edited photographs; additional edited images can be requested and agreed at £12 each.
Where ordering is enabled, you can buy the available prints and photographic gifts through your gallery. These are optional purchases. Your included digital photographs remain included, and the gallery shows its available products and current prices.
