Planning your coverage
How many hours of wedding photography do we need?
Up to 4 hours can work well for the ceremony, photographs afterwards and the beginning of your reception.
Eight hours usually covers preparations through to the early evening, while 10 hours allows the story to continue into the speeches, first dance and dancefloor.
If you’re unsure, send over your rough plans and I’ll recommend the most sensible option for your day.
Do we need everything confirmed before enquiring?
Not at all. Your venue, timings and other plans can still change after you enquire. Your wedding date and a rough idea of the day are enough for me to check availability and start helping you choose the right coverage.
Booking & costs
How much does wedding photography cost?
Wedding photography starts from £695 for up to 4 hours. Eight-hour coverage is £995 and coverage for up to 10 hours is £1,295. Destination and more unusual weddings can be quoted separately around your plans.
I am not VAT registered, so the price I quote is the price you pay.
Do we need to pay a deposit?
A 30% deposit secures your wedding date. The remaining balance is payable on or before the wedding day.
Is travel included?
Travel depends on the location, coverage and practical arrangements for your day. If any travel costs apply, they will be included in your quote so you can see the complete price before deciding.
Photography & delivery
How will you photograph our wedding?
I photograph weddings in a relaxed, documentary style, concentrating on genuine moments, reactions and the atmosphere of the day.
I’ll offer guidance when it is helpful, but I won’t spend your wedding constantly directing you through poses.
Do you take family and group photographs?
Yes. Although my style is mainly natural and documentary, I’m happy to include one or two simple family groups or a full group photograph. These can be planned in advance so they don’t take over your day.
When and how will we receive our wedding photographs?
Most complete wedding galleries are delivered within 21 days. Preview photographs are included with selected packages and will be supplied within the timeframe shown for that package.
Your edited photographs will be delivered through a secure online gallery with high-resolution downloads and straightforward sharing options.
