If you’re planning a register-office ceremony, an intimate wedding or simply want a professional photographer for one part of your day, my Short & Simple service gives you three straightforward coverage options: one hour, 90 minutes or two hours.
I photograph the agreed part of your wedding with the same care and editing standard as my Full Wedding service. The shorter booking and streamlined planning make it a more affordable option when you don’t need a photographer throughout the day.
Send me your ceremony time, venue and the photographs that matter most to you. We can then choose a start and finish time that makes sense, rather than trying to squeeze a long list into the shortest booking.

A straightforward brief might include your arrival, the ceremony, confetti, immediate-family photographs and portraits of the two of you. What fits depends on the ceremony length, how close the locations are and how much time you want to spend on groups and portraits. These are possibilities to plan around, rather than a checklist guaranteed in every booking.
One hour can suit a short ceremony with a few priorities immediately afterwards. Ninety minutes gives you more breathing room around it, while two hours can allow a broader mix of arrivals, ceremony coverage, groups and couple portraits. If your ceremony takes most of an hour, allow more time for the photographs afterwards.
I’ll follow what’s happening and organise groups or lightly direct portraits when you want them. A short list of important people and photographs helps me use your time well. The practical reassurance behind your photographs
I’ve worked professionally as a photographer since 2003. I bring backup equipment, record to dual memory cards and securely back up your photographs after the shoot. I’m based near Southend-on-Sea and photograph weddings across Essex, as well as further afield.

I’ll check availability and your timings, then confirm the photography slot, priorities and total quote. Let me know about the groups or couple portraits you want so we can allow suitable time.
Your booking is confirmed when I receive the 30% deposit against your final quoted total. The remaining balance is due on or before your wedding day. I’ll select and edit your photographs and deliver your private gallery within 21 days.

My standard base prices are £225 for one hour, £275 for 90 minutes and £390 for two hours. Each option includes my photography during the agreed slot, selection and editing, and a private, password-protected gallery for viewing and downloading your finished photographs within 21 days. I confirm your total quote before you book; VAT is not added.
Short & Simple is a photography-only service with streamlined planning and a maximum standard booking of two hours. The dedicated Wedding Portrait Session add-on belongs to Full Wedding photography; couple portraits can still be included within your Short & Simple slot. Yes. I offer Short & Simple wedding photography for one hour from £225, 90 minutes from £275 or two hours from £390. It suits a straightforward, focused brief. Send your ceremony time and priorities and I’ll help you choose suitable coverage.
It can be enough for a straightforward ceremony, family photographs and couple portraits, depending on the ceremony length and logistics. Allow time for people to gather and any movement between settings. For more than two hours, multiple locations or whole-date flexibility, Full Wedding photography is the better route.
Yes. We can include them within your booked time alongside the ceremony and natural coverage. Let me know which groups matter most and how much directed photography you want. The separate dedicated Wedding Portrait Session add-on is available with Full Wedding photography rather than Short & Simple.
Let me know as soon as possible if timings change. I can stay longer if I’m available and we agree the extra coverage and cost, but the booking reserves your agreed slot rather than the whole day. A later commitment may mean I need to finish at the agreed time, so allow some breathing room when choosing your coverage.
It reserves your agreed photography time. If you want the date held exclusively, more planning support or greater flexibility with the timetable, my Full Wedding service provides that additional level of coverage.
I’ll select and edit your photographs and deliver your finished gallery within 21 days. Your online gallery is private and password-protected by default, and lets you view and download individual photographs or the complete set.
