The service matters, but so do the people who have travelled to be there, the children finding their own entertainment and the conversations afterwards. I work quietly through the day, watching for those connections as well as the key parts of the baptism.
You can choose coverage for the ceremony alone, or allow time for arrivals, family photographs and the reception. If there are particular people or details you want included, tell me before the day so I can plan around them.

I’m an Essex photographer based in Leigh-on-Sea, with more than 20 years of professional experience. For a christening, I pay attention to the service, the people and the atmosphere, without turning the gathering into a series of staged photographs.

I’ll suggest coverage that fits the service and celebration. We can allow time for family groups and discuss any guidance from the officiant or venue before the day.
I’ll photograph the agreed coverage, select and edit the finished images, then send your private online gallery for full-quality downloads.
Straightforward event coverage

Yes. Tell me the service and reception timings and I can suggest a suitable length of coverage. Photography during a service depends on the church or venue’s rules, so we’ll establish any restrictions beforehand. Send me your plans.
I work discreetly and follow the officiant’s guidance about where photography is permitted. I’ll plan around the service rather than interrupt it. If there are moments you particularly hope to have photographed, let me know in advance.
Absolutely. We can plan a short list of important combinations and allow time after the ceremony, or arrange groups at the reception. You choose the balance between organised portraits and natural coverage.
One hour can suit a focused ceremony, while 90 minutes or two hours allows more room for arrivals, family groups or the beginning of the celebration. Share the running order and I’ll help you choose. View event photography prices.
The standard edited gallery is delivered in 7–10 working days, depending on workload at the time. I’ll send a private, password-protected gallery with full-quality individual and complete-gallery downloads. You can share its link and password with family.
