Commercial photography at Fambridge Yacht Haven

Fambridge Yacht Haven is a gem of a harbour tucked into the Essex countryside at North Fambridge. My visit on 25 August 2026 brought together team headshots and commercial photographs of the marina, its boats and the people keeping everything moving.

It was an interesting day with plenty of variety: portraits on the pontoons, photographs from a RIB and a yacht being lifted from the water for work in the boatyard. The team were friendly, professional and clearly knew their way around everything boat and harbour related.

The team, the marina and a working boatyard

The portraits use the marina itself as their setting, with moored boats and water behind the team. Elsewhere in the collection are conversations at reception, activity along the pontoons and views across the water towards the lifting area.

The yacht’s journey into the boatyard adds another part of the working day, from the hoist beside the water to cleaning beneath the raised hull. Closer details of ropes, rigging and wooden boats sit beside the wider harbour views. Select a photograph to view it larger.

Headshots with a sense of the place you work

I enjoyed the balance between meeting the team and photographing the practical side of the harbour. Working from the RIB gave me a different view of the waterfront, while the boat lift brought plenty of activity to follow from the shore.
