Rayleigh Trinity Fair event photography
I photographed Rayleigh Trinity Fair on Sunday 14 June 2026, in and around Rayleigh High Street, Essex. This selection brings together the performances, people and smaller moments around the town centre, from the stage to the crowds gathered along the street.

Photographs from the fair
Rayleigh Town Council organised the fair, with choirs and local singers performing and stalls from community groups and charities around the High Street. The official opening included Rayleigh and Wickford MP Mark Francois and council chairman Cllr Elizabeth Brewer. There were also vintage cars and more stalls at the Mill Hall.
The photographs here follow different parts of the occasion: performers on stage, costumed visitors, conversations and portraits in the crowd. Wider views place it all in Rayleigh, with the town clock and windmill among the details that give the set its setting.

Meet your photographer
Hi, I’m Jonathan.
I’m an Essex photographer, working professionally since 2003. Events are at the heart of my work, and a community day like Trinity Fair shows the variety that can sit within one occasion: performances, people catching up and plenty happening away from the stage.
I photograph events in Rayleigh and across Essex, following what’s happening while making time for the groups or portraits you want included. I personally select and edit the finished photographs too. If you’re organising a community event, live music or a private celebration, you can explore my event photography or tell me what you’re planning.
